I believe mathematics is a creative, connected, and deeply human way of understanding the world. As a mathematician and professor, I explore these connections through research, teaching, and outreach—and through creative pursuits such as cooking, travel, reading, and art.

Check out my latest research article, "On Balanced Chain Rule Task Sets." This work was especially meaningful to me because I believe it embodies the spirit of "Math DBER", using mathematicians' methodology to answer problems in undergraduate math education.
